Katelyn Clark, keyboards







Canadian harpsichordist Katelyn Clark enjoys a vibrant career in historical performance and new music.  Upcoming engagements include a tour in Spain and Austria and with her Medieval ensemble Musica fantasia and a solo sixteenth-century English harpsichord recital at Hodson Manor in Vancouver, British Columbia. 

Katelyn began the harpsichord at age 10 and eventually went on to pursue a master’s degree with Bob van Asperen at the Amsterdam Conservatory in The Netherlands.  She has attended mastercourses with Christophe Rousset at the Accademia Musicale Chigiana in Sienna and with Jesper Christensen at the Piccola Accademia in Montisi, Italy and she holds a doctorate in performance studies from McGill University.  Katelyn is currently an artist in residence at the Banff Centre, generously funded by the Canada Council for the Arts.
